Draupadi reminds them ,साहं केशग्रहं प्राप्ता परिकिलष्टा सभां गता.. अयं ते पुप्डरीकाक्ष दु:शासन करोद धृत :, स्मर्तव्य: सर्व कालेषु परेषां संधिमिच्छता ॥
મારા વાળ પકડી મને ક્લેશ પમાડી ને સભાવછે લાવવામા આવી તમે શત્રુઓ સાથે સન્ધિની ઇચ્છાથી જે કંઇ કાર્ય કરો ત્યારે દુ:શાસન ના હાથે ખેંચાયેલા આ કેશકલાપને સ્મરણમા રાખજો... ॥ 80 :36 ઉદ્યોગ ॥

Kunti goes to meet Karna who has already given back Kovach Kundal thought to be very powerful and precious things ... to Dev Indra and in returned got the maha-weapon to kill someone special. He reserved this for Arjun. But incidences forced him to use it against Ghatotkatch. Bhim's son.
Krishna also offered a lot.. lured him that his declaring elder brother to Yudhisthir will take all the potential from Kauravas but the great Karna denies. Obliged by the FRIEND IN NEED.... he continues to be a friend.
When Kunti tries to lure him he refuses and still honors her motherhood and promises to fight only Arjun for Fatal Result and his sarcastic remark that 5 Pandava will remain 5 Pandava ... in a case of death of him or Arjun !!!!!! He was real great hero his welcoming of Kunti starts like... showing his unwillingness straight way...
